Psychoacoustic 2026 edition. Welcome to Atlantis. Heavily inspired by the sounds of early 60's and 70's drum machines, this synth is a portal to a parallel world of percussion, rhythmic, and drone possibilities.

At the heart of the instrument are 2 voltage controlled Twin T filter cores. The 2 filters present in Psychoacoustic have every part of the circuit exposed for experimentation. Run other sounds through and use them as filters, let them drone as free standing oscillators, or ping them with any kind of pulse or voltage, including your own touch.

Both frequency and decay are modulatable with CV. One of the special features of this machine is the ability to mechanically switch the capacitor selections inside the circuit either manually or in an automated pseudo random fashion.



Additionally:

-2 voltage controlled falling slope generators (can be looped)

-2 pseudo random gate generators - 1 of these also outputs a pseudo random stepped voltage

-a clock multiplier/divider, X8, X4, X2, /2, /4, /8

-a swarm of noise oscillators with voltage starve that can generate white noise, sputtering chaotic clicks, piercing shrieks, deep drone bass

-An internally mounted contact mic amplifies the physical interactions in the machine through the on board preamp, overdrive, and fuzz circuits. Use these sounds as a cv source. External audio can also be processed.

-2 low pass gates for cutting up sounds in real time across the stereo field. Signal path switches on each gate send the gate's output either to pre-send, post-send, or no-send allowing for customized feedback paths to be created.

-3 audio outputs give immediate access to a mono output, a stereo output, and a mono send that can also be used to drive headphones, a spring reverb tank, an acoustic plate reverb, or even a small speaker.

-4 assignable input/output jacks make it easy to interface with other gear

-Optional voltage controlled lamp / faceplate cover can be used when travelling, as an instant ambiance creator, or for visualization of control voltages
