Anti Rave XT edition

Anti Rave is an alchemical sound laboratory. A rave machine for the dystopian present. At the heart of the device is a curated selection of bizarre and mostly rare synth circuits presented in a fully modular system. There is practically no pre-configured routing, giving the user a vast field of possibility.

Anti Rave can act as a generative sequencer, a drum synth, an effect processor, a melodic synth or all of the above at the same time.

An overview of the different modules:

-2x Triangle Core VCO. The VCO cores are based on modified version of the 909 kick drum core. Sin, Triangle, and Pulse outputs are simultaneously available. Wide frequency range down into LFO with frequency range switches. The VCO requires some kind of CV to run, meaning that it will reset its cycle everytime it is hit with voltage, and go completely silent in the absense of voltage, making it perfect for drum synthesis. The Sin wave has a dedicated VCA called the SIN gate. Frequency response is linear (hz/v) - most sequencers keyboards Arturia Korg etc.. have this option.

-2x voltage controlled Slope Generators. Rise / Fall slope generators with frequency range switches. They can go from ultra sonic down to extremely slow. Gate and Trigger inputs as well as Gate input for cycling and End of Cycle pulse output

-2x Overdrive gates. Transistor based VCA with rough dirt sound.

-8 stage clock divider withf Low Pass / Band Pass Voltage Controlled Resonator. The clock divider clocks mechanically switched capacitors in the Resonator, creating micro shifts in phase which can give very metallic sounds. When not clocked, pinging the Resonator produces warm 1970's style percussions.

-White noise with voltage controlled density and various frequency and intensity outputs

-Caos generator which controls a 4x1 multiplexer. Use this for creating clocked randomized voltages or clocked randomized patch routings.

-Waveshaper - Voltage controlled with circuit bend switches

-XOR gate

-2x attenuators

-Fixed frequency ultra high pass filter

-3 input mixer

-Dedicated send output capable of driving headphones, spring reverb tanks, plate reverbs, or small speakers

-Return input with preamp for reamplifying spring reverb tanks, plate reverbs, or can be used as an overdrive circuit

-5x assignable input / output jacks for easily interfacing with other gear

-Optional voltage controlled lamp / faceplate cover can be used when travelling, as an instant ambiance creator, or for visualization of control voltages

- Comes with 5v to 12v usb power cable, use this with any standard usb charger (must be 2,1A or greater) to power the synth

- Or use any 12v, minimum 1A(1000mA) center positive power supply
